Average temperatures throughout the year in Rocky Mountain National Park:
Knowing the average temperatures for the time you arrive at this fabulous park can help in knowing what to pack.
In the summer, temperatures reach the 70s or 80s F. as a typical daytime high and drop into the 40s F. at night. But remember, at the higher points in the park, like Trail Ridge Road or Longs Peak, it can snow even in July.
December through March are the winter months, and highs average from 38 to 45 degrees F. Lows range from 16 to 20 degrees.
The spring brings wonderfully mild temperatures at the lower elevations and they are from 53 to 62-degree highs and lows from 27 to 34 degrees.
Fall weather begins to chill with daytime highs in the 60s and nighttime lows in the 30s. It drops even lower in November as winter begins to take hold.
