Estes Park Music Festival
The Estes Park Music Festival will introduce you to the culture ever-present in our world but too infrequently experienced. Estes Park, Colorado is the ideal place to experience these music events. Only two hours from Denver and full of adventure the year round, this wonderful mountain town offers a wide array of activities for those who love the outdoors, music and adventure.
The Wintertime Awaits You
Sitting right at the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park holds beauty and adventure. Wintertime is a wonder, with snow-capped mountains and pines frosted in white. And the Estes Park Music Festival begins in full swing with the Estes Park Music Festival Winter Concert. Some lively musical entertainment awaits you. The concerts are usually held at the Stanley Hotel Concert Hall. They run from November through April on Sunday afternoons. In December you may get to see a special event such as the Fantasy Ball being held at the Stanley Hotel in December 2009.
Once you enjoy a performance, get out and about in this fascinating Rocky Mountain region for some fun. What you’ll enjoy in the winter:
- You can ski or snowshoe.
- Hike through that white powder and view some shy wildlife.
- Try riding a tube downhill.
- Go for an ice skating adventure.
- Ride a snowmobile over the landscape.
- Camp out under the stars.
The incredible beauty of Rocky Mountain National Park in the winter can’t be missed.
Summer in Estes Park, Colorado
The altitudes here range from 7,500 to 14,259 feet, so you won’t have any extremely hot days. The air is refreshing and clear. The Estes Park Music Festival has music events through the summer months. Every Monday night through July you will enjoy classical music that will make your emotions soar. The concerts take place at the Stanley Hotel Concert Hall.
