Surrounded by Shadow Mountain Lake, Grand Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park, and Arapaho National Recreation Area, the village of Grand Lake offers a varied combination of mountain and water pleasures. And one of these is Grand Lake's Spring Fishing Festival.

Overview: Everyday is a good day to fish on Grand Lake. But an especially good day is during the Grand Lake Ice Fishing Contest each March. With catch and release contests for lake, brown and rainbow trout, live music, family fun events and contests this is an an ice anglers dream.
