The Village of Grand Lake is a mountain resort popular for its sunny days, low-key tempo, family-owned shops and fine restaurants. During Old-Fashioned Christmas, the village in Grand Lake is full of winter magic. The celebration begins with a Crafts Fair, starting around Thanksgiving. This is the perfect time to shop for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts. The entire month of December is full of holiday cheer, including caroling by candlelight, sleigh rides, cantatas, reenactments of the Christmas story with a real outdoor nativity play, snowman contest, and a full moon ski event.
