From the National Park Service to the local concessionaire, they are all available in Rocky Mountain National Park to make your visit to the area enjoyable.
Private companies under contract with the National Park Service provide the commercial services, concessions, and facilities within Rocky Mountain National Park. Independent companies and businesses outside the Park provide wood for that evening campfire, instruction and guides for mountain /rock climbing, horseback rides, fishing guides and bicycle tours.
- Lodging – There is no lodging inside Rocky Mountain National Park. Lodging can be found in the communities outside the Park.
- Camping – Camping is allowed within the Park, but only at designated campgrounds, or with the use of a backcountry permit.
- Food – Some limited supplies can be purchased at several of the Visitor Centers, but for groceries, it is best to stock up prior to entering the Park at one of the outlying communities. A “sit down” restaurant can be found near the Fall River Visitor Center.
- Transportation – Take advantage of the free shuttle bus system.
- Book and Souvenir Sales – Every Visitor Center within the Park has a display of souvenir and books.
