Rocky Mountain National Park is full of great sights and sounds. One of the best ways to travel around the park and really have an opportunity to see all the sights is by the free shuttle bus. The buses run in late spring, summer, and early fall. During the summer, the buses run everyday of the week. The buses do not run in the winter.

Come to visit Rocky Mountain National Park and leave the driving to someone else. Everyone in your party can enjoy the Park and travel to many destinations and loop hikes by traveling via the free shuttle bus. You can enjoy the fantastic scenery without any distractions and without worrying about the hassle of the congestion of traffic or worrying about limited parking. The buses are environmentally friendly and the drivers are friendly and informative.

The free shuttle buses make convenient connections between the various trailheads, between Moraine Park and Glacier Basin Campgrounds, as well as between the various trailheads and the Moraine Park Museum on the Bear Lake Road. There are two separate routes for the free shuttle buses, both of which are based at the Park & Ride shuttle bus parking area which is located directly across from the Glacier Basin Campground on the Bear Lake Road.

The free shuttles buses provide transportation only on the weekends in the early spring and late fall. However, during the summer, the buses run every day of the week. In the winter, the buses do not operate.
