This campground contains 98 sites and is located on the banks of the Colorado River in Kawuneeche Valley. To the west you’ll see the Never Summer Mountains. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.
- Location: On US Highway 34 about ten miles north of Grand Lake
- Amenities: Accommodates tent trailers, tents, pickup campers, trailers, and RVs up to a length of 30 feet. Restrooms, fire rings, tent pads, bear boxes for food storage available, group camping. Dump station. Disabled access. Firewood available for purchase.
- Dates: Open year-round
- Fees: $20 per night when water is on (late May to mid-September); $14 per night when water is off.
- Reservations: No reservations required. This campground is first-come, first-served.
