Denver, Colorado is a bustling city, with the tenth largest downtown in the country. The downtown core is centered around a pedestrian promenade one mile long, lined with outdoor cafes and beautiful flower baskets.

On every street in Denver you can see mountain views. The panorama stretches 120 miles long and boasts almost 200 named peaks. Downtown Denver has three new sports stadiums, 300 restaurants, and a restored historic district containing 90 bars and pubs, as well as a group of museums, galleries and shopping malls. Denver also has the second largest performing arts center in the country, three college campuses, and an amazing downtown amusement park (Six Flags Elitch Gardens).

The museums in Denver are something you can't miss. Be sure to visit the Denver Zoo when you come - it is the fourth most popular zoo in the U.S. The Downtown Aquarium is another fantastic destination, which is set to undergo some major improvements. The Denver Museum of Nature and Science now has a space museum and the world's most technologically-advanced digital planetarium.

Denver has the most educated population in the country, and as a result the arts are very popular here. The Denver Art Museum is doubling in size, adding a new wing designed by Daniel Libeskind. The Denver Performing Arts Complex is the second largest of its kind in the country - it has ten theatres seating a total of 10,000 people.

In addition, Denver is the brew capital of the nation. The city brews more beer than any other town (80 different beers are brewed here.) Check out LoDo (Denver's hip downtown historic district) to view restored Victorian buildings that have been transformed into more than 90 sports bars, brew pubs, jazz clubs, and restaurants.

The music scene in Denver is also growing quickly - the city offers some of the best concert venues on the planet, such as the well-known Red Rocks Amphitheatre. This is a 9,000-seat arena carved out of huge red rock boulders.

Hotel accommodations are easy to find in Denver, and the airport is easily reached via interstate highways. It's less than 35 minutes from downtown Denver by car.
