The most accessible entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is through Estes Park where the main Visitor Center and Headquarters are located. But other area towns, offering alternative options for lodging and dining, include Grand Lake and Granby, Colorado.

Denver, Boulder and Lyons residents can plan vacations to the park as often as they want. These towns are located within less than an hours drive along Highway 36. Highway 34 leads travelers to the park if they are coming from the nearby Loveland or Interstate 25. Highway 34 continues through the park and out the southwest entrance, where it eventually meets up with Granby, Colorado. Blackhawk and Interstate 70 can access the park from CO 7 at the southeast entrance.
